We strive to provide ministries for you and your entire family. Each of these ministries are led by staff and volunteers. If you are interested in helping,there is always a place for you to volunteer. It is a great way to make friends and help others find life in Jesus Christ.

Life Group Ministries

A Life Group is a group of people (2-20) who gather on a regular basis in homes, throughout the Lenoir City/Knoxville area for the purpose of growing in relationship with God and each other. Life Groups are all about doing life together, meeting new people, having fun, and growing in your faith.

There are several groups currently meeting weekly. including one that meets at our location on Sunday morning at 9:00am

Children's Ministry

The DayStar Children’s Ministry exists to lead kids into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our goal is that children may know the love of Christ and come to know Him and the forgiveness of His salvation. On Sunday morning, your child will experience enthusiastic leaders, creative storytelling that focuses on biblical truths, purposeful activities that reinforce what is being taught and lively worship - all presented in a way that kids can understand.So, come join us for an exciting time of fun and worship every Sunday morning at 10:00AM.

Worship Ministries

The worship at DayStar is dynamic and allows you to worship God in a way that is relevant to your life and to your experiences. Michael Merritt leads the praise team and other related ministries such as audio and visual. If you are interested in helping serve in any of these areas, please contact us!

Outreach

DayStar Church purposely involves itself in the local community and the mission field abroad.
We support missionaries in the field in Honduras and Jamaica.
We also support local ministries.
